Highlights

2015

  • Began learning Arduino and robotics. 

  • Co-founded Project Transformasi with Mr. Nigel and my friends, aiming to learn and teach students Arduino and robotics. 

  • Participated in the National Robotic Competition.

  • Became the 2nd Runner-up in the Accenture Leadership Camp, with the 3-R social project conducted in school. 

  • Created EcoMan, an automated waste separating machine, with Arduino. 

  • Participated in the Young Innovate 2015 Prelim with EcoMan. Became a national finalist team. 

  • Participated in KLESF 2015 and was awarded goal medal. 

  • Participated in Young Innovate 2015 National Competition and became the 2nd Runner-up.

2016

  • Joined the Sime Darby Young Innovators Challenge 2016.

  • Created SnapKing, a multipurpose intruder detector, with Arduino.

  • Participated in the Young Innovate 2016 State Region Competition with Snap King and became one of the 10 semi-finalists. Won the "Excellence Award".

  • Participated in the ITEX with EcoMan in KLCC. Won "Gold Medal Award" in both MYIC & AYIC categories. 

  • Participated in the School Lab Science Video Competition.

  • Participated in the myHarapan Social Project Challenge 2016 and became the national "3rd Runner-Up.

  • Participated in MDEC's Digital Maker Global Exchange (DMGX) with Snap King and became national top 10 finalists.

  • Participated in the KLESF 2016.

  • Visited Silicon Valley under MDEC's DMGX Program.

2017

  • Secured a two-week internship with Streamline Studios during school holidays. 

  • Showcased SnapKing to the Minister of International Trade of UK, Mr. Mark Garnier and British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Ms. Vicki Treadell.

  • Created F-Link, a fall detection system for my granny, with Arduino.

  • Participated in the Young Innovate 2017 State Region Competition with F-Link and won a "Bronze Medal".

  • Participated in Google Startup Weekend and developed  Project JomStudy, a self-learn centre idea for students. Became the 2nd Runner-up.

  • Participated in the myHarapan Social Project Challenge 2017 with Project JomStudy, became the national top 10 finalists.

  • Participated in the Eureka International Innovation Exhibition 2017 and won a "Silver Medal Award".

  • Participated in the 2017 4x4 In Schools Malaysia National Finals and created ChumbaCar,  a radio-controlled four-wheel-drive. 

  • Participated in MDEC's Digital Ninjas Accelerator Labs and created Twist Digital Receipt System. Became  the national top 8 finalists. Pitch the project during a Ninja Tank (youth version of Shark Tank). 

  • Participated in #mydigitalmaker Fair in KLCC, showcasing Twist App and ChumbaCar.

  • Won an "Innovative Thinking Award" in 4x4 In Schools.

  • Participated in the KLESF 2017.

2018

  • Secured a partnership with LEAD Community Centre to set up another Project JomStudy learning centre. 

  • Invited to speak at the Global Peace Foundation Education Summit 2018.

  • Participated in a chess tournament. 

  • Became President of Project Transformasi. Expanded the project to more than 80 students. 

  • Awarded with the "Distinction" in the National Chemistry Quiz Competition 2018.

  • Secured a 3-month internship with KHIND. Developed a Bluetooth-controlled fan.

  • Received HOPE Award from the myHarapan Youth Trust Foundation.

  • Sat for the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM). 

  • Graduated from my secondary school, SMJK Yoke Kuan.

  • Participated in the #mydigitalmaker Leadership Bootcamp 2018. 

  • Became a volunteer to clean up a park in Puchong. 

2019

  • Led four teams to participate in the Mahsing Young Nation Builders Challenge 2019. 

  • Secured a one-month internship at Fave Malaysia. 

  • Showcased my projects during Project Aruvi 2019, a science and tech fair, at SJKT Puchong.

  • Achieved 11A+ 1 A in the SPM. Ranked among the top 20  scholars in Selangor. 

  • Scured a scholarship from Yayasan Khazanah. 

  • Participated in STEP STEM Alive 2019! in Singapore. Pitched a water treatment solution. 

  • Started A-levels at Kolej Yayasan UEM.

  • Invited to share Project BAWE at UNDP Malaysia. 

  • Directed the BAWE Changemakers Cup 2019. 

  • Performed during the Cultural Performance Night in college.

  • Created a hydraulic system-controlled claw machine as a side project. 

  • Volunteered as a student mentor during the Sime Darby Young Innovators Challenge 2019. 

2020

  • Co-organized Base.scholarship, a scholarship seminar for SPM graduates. 

  • Co-organized the Chinese New Year celebration in college. 

  • Attended Shoppee Code League for two months during the Covid-19 country lockdown.
