First Presentation to Mentors
In the morning, we had our first round of presentation to two mentors, Steve and Thomas to get feedback from them. My team was asked to tell the story behind our project before starting our presentation.
Sharing Session from Seow Yin Lim
Seow Yin was a Malaysian tech entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. She founded Povi - a smart toy with an app that improved interactions between parents and children. Seow Yin was the finalists of America's Greatest Makers. She shared with us her inspirations when developing Povi. Her passion for problem-solving inspired me to be an innovator.

Speed Dating with Mentors
The Speed Dating with Mentors session was very exciting and valuable to us because we got to consult six industry experts to refine our project ideas. Each team was given 15 minutes with a mentor and switch mentor after that. From this session, I had received great suggestions, such as gamifying my multipurpose intruder detector, looking into big data analytics, and offering photo printing features to tourists.

What Have We Learned?
Quick Sharing
After the speed dating session, we shared our feelings and learnings from the mentors. I realized that through exchanging ideas, I could identify the strengths and weaknesses of my project and understood my product better. It allowed me to think critically when developing a solution.
Modern Marketing
Sir Apoorva Pande, taught us the application of modern marketing and its benefits. We learned to create a landing website to validate our innovations through social media.
